Service Description

Our ‘Blissful Reset’ Well-being Retreat will be a restorative 3 hours of self care and deep relaxation at the beautiful garden yoga studio in Harpenden. Designed to reset your nervous system and nourish your mind, body and soul, our aim is to leave you feeling blissfully restored and recharged. Gentle Yoga Breathwork Sound Bath Talk on Self-Care and Self Confidence We will focus on reducing feelings of stress and anxiety and rejuvenating your body and mind using restorative movement, release work, breath work and sound healing. This morning retreat is gently woven together in such a way to leave you in a dream-like state. Julie Greenhalgh | Wellbeing Breathwork is effective at improving your sleep, balancing your blood pressure, reducing any pent up emotions including feelings of trauma, improving your respiratory function, recharge your immune system and release stress hormones from your body. Gong /sound bath meditation is a beautiful gentle form of sound healing designed to offer relaxation, emotional release and even pain relief. Since our bodies are made up of 70% water the vibrations are felt by every cell in the body. Think of the whole body being completely immersed by sound. Yoga is a wonderfully gentle way to relax your body and mind and has many benefits to us mentally, emotionally and physically including releasing stress and tension and restoring balance and wellbeing. Cathy Dowden | Wellbeing Self-Care refers to actions you consciously take in order to keep yourself mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually healthy. The benefits on us and those around us, can be significant. Cathy will guide you through a range of wonderful self care practices so that you can tailor yours to best suit your lifestyle. Healthy Boundaries are the important but invisible lines we draw around ourselves to protect our time, energy, and well-being. They involve knowing your limits, communicating them clearly, and honoring them without guilt or hesitation. WHAT TO WEAR Your comfort is paramount so please wear clothes you can easily move in. Many wear casual gym attire. WHAT TO BRING Just yourself! I provide yoga mats, blankets and pillows. However, if you prefer to use your own, please feel free to bring them along. Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable outside of the half term block unless the class is cancelled by Julie Greenhalgh Wellness. If you book a block of classes and are unable to make a class I will be happy invite you to attend an alternative class within your booked half term block. Please complete the forms on the Forms page, found under "Booking Online" prior to attending.
