What is a Women's Circle?

Welcome to Harpenden's Women's Circle of Sacred Sisterhood.

For hundreds of years women have come together and sat in a safe circle of sisterhood; empowering themselves and supporting each other.  It brought not only a sense of connection and belonging, but also a space to embody the divine femininity of a woman.  Women's connections are vast and deep and there is something truly beautiful when women come together in a circle and awaken their feminine creative power.

This women’s circle is a sacred safe space where we come together to connect, share, and support one another on our journeys of self-discovery and healing. This gathering represents a nurturing environment for personal growth, community, and empowerment.

Though we are all navigating the best we can through today’s chaotic world, it’s easy to feel disconnected from ourselves, each other, and even nature. Women often see each other as a threat or compare themselves to others which can deplete our sense of worth.  This circle offers a sanctuary from this noise, providing an intentional time to pause, reflect, reconnect and empower and be in the presence of like-minded individuals.

It is Harpenden's Women's Circle of Sacred Sisterhood’ intention that we all honour our individual journey and support one another. Whether you’re seeking clarity, emotional healing, or simply a moment to breathe and pause, these gatherings offer you a holistic wellbeing sanctuary.

If you’ve ever longed for a space to feel seen, heard, and valued, a women’s circle might be the perfect place for you. Together, we can explore the power of connection and the magic of shared experiences.  Join me to help you rediscover the strength, wisdom, and beauty that lies within you.

Harpenden's Women’s Circle of Sacred Sisterhood is a place of authenticity, of sanctuary and soulful connections that bring us back to our hearts, helping us to create a more beautiful world both inside and out. I look forward to welcoming you to you this safe space.

What to Expect

Here’s what you can expect in a women’s circle:

  1.  A safe and sacred space: a nonjudgemental space where everyone is encouraged to be authentic. It’s a place to share your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of criticism or being advised on what to do.  It’s a space to go inwards and find your own answers.

  2.  Guided practices:  these sessions will include somatic movement, meditation, breathwork, sound baths, rituals or other holistic practices to help ground and centre you. These activities are designed to promote relaxation and mindfulness.

  3. Sharing and listening: a space where you have an opportunity to speak and be heard. This process of sharing and listening cultivates a deep sense of connection and mutual understanding, along with hearing life lessons that may resonate with you.

  4.  Rituals and intentions: rituals, such as setting intentions or releasing what no longer serves your highest and greatest good, helping you create meaning and focus within the circle. These rituals are often inspired by the rhythms of nature, such as the lunar cycle or the changing seasons.

  5. Community network and support: this women’s circle is more than a gathering; it’s a community. Women will leave the sessions feeling uplifted, inspired, energised and supported by the collective energy of the group.

The Power of Women's Circles

Women's circles are forming all over the globe and they've proven to be a powerful way for women to connect with their bodies and emotions and empower themselves.  More importantly, many women find a sense of support and community, and an enhanced ability to become their authentic selves.
